Lot of works to do.. they all busy to go on a holiday... Asked boss for a leave and what he says... ' no.. you can't take leave... bcoz we are going to start production soon.. DDDDDDDDDddaaaaaaaa... I'm not even Senior Engineer... why he bother have lots of SE when he had to depend on Engineer. might as well fired them bcoz they all to bz go on a holiday rather than to stay at the office..

I've been working straight start from Raya until now.. Even Raya only 3 days on leave.. Even the one doesn't celebrate raya take leave for four days.. Now I can't take leave at ALL... ok ok... wait n see...

I wanna buy one of these and take a holiday for a ride around malaysia..

Salam and good day to all.. just got back from Langkawi. On friday night, i ride my kapchai from kulim to Aloq Staq. Arrived at my Uncle's house around 10pm. Then this morning, I ride back from Aloq Staq to kulim. Hehehe... I stop for a while at R&R Gurun and meet a pack of superbike riders. Most of them riding this BMW GS1100.. It got some nice sound.

SOme of this guys fill up their tank up to RM40... hohohoho.. My kapchai cost around RM6 just to go from Kulim to Aloq Staq.. Big difference right.. Then i went to get some drinks at the petrol pump.. Suddenly one of this superbike guys staring at me and laugh.. He said "EX5 ka...?" I said "yes... why..?" He replied.. oppsss.. Nothing.. I know this think he's some big guys because he ride this bmw... After that they all left leaving me in the petrol pump.. No problem...

After a while i continue my ride and after a few kilometers i saw this BMW rider at aside of the rode.. seems like his bike got a puncture.. hehehe.. big bikes got no spare tube ekk... hohohoho.. to make it worst, he got left behind by his friends and his phone credit got expired. lucky i stop by and lend him my phone.. Kapchai pon ok what.... hehehehe.. See you next time.. BY the way, only two and a half month left for my practical..

It's been two weeks since my industrial training started. My place, Ann Joo Steel Berhad which is known to produce steel product. I was placed at SMP-MM ( Steel Making Plant-Mechanical Maintenance) and further specialise in CCM operation.. that is continuous casting machine. All the guys there is really nice. The technicians and engineers really knows their way around the factory.

Every tuesday there will be a PM-day. That is preventive maintenance day. This is the day that usually they allocate about 4 hours for repairing any necessary parts thats need to be repair. Sometimes if there is too many problem, the repair time could take up to 8 hours. This is the time where the technicians and engineers rush their way to tune the machine to it's perfect condition.

A lot of things that i have learn even within two weeks time. The most important thing is that safety is very important in workplace. Respecting each other is important in life.... I'll always remember that.. till next time.. not forgetting.. i'm happy now.. thanks..

it's been a long week. The water crisis that happen just making it become worst. Not to mention it's hot. A few things happen during this month and some of them is not something good to be remember.

The water crisis that hits UMp this time is the worst. A week without water in UMp making the study week a very unpleasant period for every one. Even after the exam starts there still no water. Well, UMP starts to have water again after a week the exam starts. Everyone was wondering why it keep happening because report has been done since the establishment of kuktem. Gambang was badly hit by this crisis. I have to find shower outside UMP. Some of friends went as far as the R&R in the highway to find water. Well, it's ok now, the water supply is good. maybe they got the problem fix, for a while i guess before it starts to happen again.

Apart from that, the exam weeks kicks off. I have three paper to be sit and all of it what we say killer paper. Intermediate strength of material, Mechanical Vibrations and Industrial engineering are among the crucial paper. I've sit for Strength on 23/4/2009. It's ok although having some problem with the question. After finishing the last paper on 30/4/2009, i'm going home for a while. Rest and relax at the beach of Langkawi.

One more thing, my bike got sold to a buyer from KL. He's 55 years old and the first thing that pop up in my mind is can he ride the bike. Well he can and he ride it alone back to KL. I can't tell you the price that has been agreed. It's confidential. heheehe. Since the bike is sold, i might as well find another one. Maybe an EX5 would settle this. I'm thinking about buying my mother another bike then i'll take her ex5. But i need to talk to her first. That should not be any problem.

Somehow i feels like i miss someone. I miss my mom of course. But there is someone else... wonder who she might be.. :-)

Gossip

Hmmmm... when people starts to talk about gossips, it's sounds interesting. But when the gossips starts making people angry at each other, it's not good. From my point of
view, it's ok to gossip about things. But not to much. This is because when things started to become bad and worsen by time, relationships among people will get torn apart. Just looks at the artist. Don't go far, just in Malaysia. A lot of artist divorce due to gossips. Well i don't have to tell you about it.

Now, if it's involve your friends, is it good. some gossip is good and some bad. If with the gossip a relationship can get better, it's a good sign. If it turn out like fire, just pray that God bless you.

A lot of gossip circulate around relationships. Meaning like relationship issues. Friends, boyfriend, girlfriend and family. Some people can't stand when they are the focus of the gossip. maybe they are to sensitive or they just trying to protect themselves. if it's wrong it does not matter. But what about it is true, can you denied the truth. just lying to yourselves will make you feel bad about yourself.

What about the person who talks about the gossip? are they to blame..? is it wrong..?
if it's wrong then i guess we can't talk about anything in this world. because gossip is also a hypothesis or a prediction. which means it's not true yet until it is proven. If we can't make prediction base on facts, observations and other factors, there is no value for knowledge. There will never be E=mc2 for Einstein's equation. They can never be any assumptions about a matter. can anyone live in a world like that. Check the weather forecasts to know whether is's going to rain or not. Guess it's the same like finding whether a man and women is having affairs. Well forecasts is important...

Anyway.. for those who actually involve in a relationship and being the focus of gossip, i would say it's not wrong to talk about you guys. it's just a way of making a relationships more close. if no one can't even know anything about you.. what a lonely world you live in...

Forget and forgive.. the best remedy... hehehehe... If it's true.. say it.. if it's no... then it's no... But the real answer lies within yourself... I'm sorry for all the chaos... but, it's not me who starts it... I think you know who...

Man.. what a week.. i'm running out of time for my PSM1. i have not done completing several things about it. The design of the peeler need to be adjusted. The trip to FAMA was cancel due to some technical problem. The literature review need to be rewrite. That's also includes the introduction. Besides that, i need to stay at college to finish up the prototype for the peeler. well.. I'm just using RP(rapid prototype) but it cost a lot. Even to use the machine have to be brought and discuss in the faculty meeting. Which mean no holiday for me...

Well, i'm still gonna go home. Just for a short while after final exam. Take a relieve moment along the beach of Langkawi. HEehehehhe, no kidding. don't be jealous.. huhuhu. maybe for a few days trip to Langkawi then i'm off back to Kuantan. Trying to finish up the prototype. But then the design needs to be clarify by Ergonomics expert. Which UMP does not have.. according to my PSM supervisor. Which mean i have to clarify my thesis with expert outside UMP. Meaning more time waiting.

Besides PSM, this week is the most extreme week. The water supply got cut off and it's hot, really hot. Even the cafe operation got lag due to no source of water. Imagine that.. But still.. Everthing works out fine.

busy week

This week is the most busiest week for this semester.. l have to finish up literature review for my thesis. Not to mention the design for my pineapple peeler.. well.. everyone say it's easy.. just a peeler and all kind of stuff.. but when you do it, you will feel the tension and all kinds of horrible stuff when you doing work.. the design itself takes me about two weeks to be sketch. it's not like we can just sketch it the way we want it, but it have to follow certain rules that has been bound. For my thesis, I'm using ergonomics approach in improving the pineapple peeler. It's not easy because every little detail of the design has it own purpose. I have to refer to manuals and books that have the guidelines in designing thing according to ergonomics. Everyone knows when using ergonomics we can minimize injury during working besides increasing productivity of the worker.

I have read a books on ergonomics and one phrase that capture my mind is " good ergonomics is good business". Seems like ergonomics have something to do with money after all.

OK.. got to move on with my work.. Daa...

Malaysians not so hot in bedroom

KUALA LUMPUR: A surprisingly high number of Malaysians are not sexually satisfied, a survey by pharmaceutical company Pfizer has revealed.

Two out of three Malaysian men and three out of four women are not satisfied with their sex lives, the Asia-Pacific Sexual Health and Overall Wellness survey stated. Malaysians are ranked sixth among 13 countries but, if it’s any consolation, Singaporeans fared worse. They are in eighth spot.

India topped the list with 70% of the respondents saying they were satisfied with their sex lives while Japan reported the lowest sexual satisfaction rate at 10%. “The Malaysian figure is higher than the overall Asia Pacific results where 57% of men and 64% of women reported being not very satisfied with sex,” said Dr Rosie King, who led the study in the Asia Pacific region from May to July 2008.

“The survey links the level of erection hardness to sexual satisfaction for men.” said Dr King during a roundtable discussion at a hotel here yesterday.

The level of erection hardness is measured in a scale of one to four using the Erection Hardness Score (EHS) developed by the European Association of Urology.

“Level one is like tofu where the male organ is large but not hard, level two is similar to a peeled banana where it’s not hard enough for penetration, level three is like an unpeeled banana where it’s hard enough for penetration but not completely, and level four is similar to a cucumber where it’s completely hard and fully rigid,” explained Dr King.

The men were required to evaluate themselves using the EHS during the survey and 40% of Malaysian men reported that they experienced erection below grade four.

Compared to their EHS grade four counterparts, these men have sex less often, are less sexually satisfied, and may suffer from lack of self confidence, or worse, depression.

“We found that greater sexual satisfaction is strongly associated with greater satisfaction with life overall. Generally, men and women who are highly satisfied with their sex life have a more positive outlook on their relationships and life.

In Malaysia, 102 men and 100 women were selected nationwide based onage, marital status, education level, and income to participate in the survey.

Today is the most boring day.. it's Tuesday.. this morning i went to the cae and failure analysis class. Class starts at 9 am .. i felt very sleepy... i don't know why.. after that, at 10 am.. went for the Ethnic Relations class. It was my turn to do presentation... and i went up to the stage... bla bla bla.... answer some question and that's the end of the class... when i got back my room.... i just think i want to sleep.. and there it goes.. went to the bed.. sleep until 1.25 pm... how's that... the i realized i got class at 2pm.. rush to bath... perform zohor... at 2 pm I'm at the class... but actually... the class that evening was cancel... because of a professor from Korea who actually giving a talk on mechanical engineering that evening...

Well... that's okay.. i just go back to room... and end up sleeping again... heheeh.. i don't know... i like to sleep.. besides all the stuff that i mention in my profile...

10.30 tonight... i have a meeting with mt of orator... the debate club.. don't know what's it's all about..

Tomorrow i have a Vibrations test.. 8pm... man i don't know what to answer... God please help me...

Today is monday, date: 23/2/2009... i woke up at 6.15am because the alarms was beeping.. turn it off and went to sleep again..

but then woke up again... realising that i haven't perform subuh yet.. went to find water.. take ablution.. then perform solah.. went back to sleep..

Last night i went to the debate training.. with a moody feeling... and i end up waiting again for the others to come.. you know.. that's the main reason why i don't want to debate.. it's not because anything.. but it is because of attitude.. i mean how long do I have to endure all of this... i can not to come at any of the training... I myself have the psm to be done.. PSM is the most important thing in the life of a student( in my university).. if you fail psm... the you have to extend or repeat it... i know i'm not good enough in debating.. i never win anything... but i just want to share what i know so that all of my juniors can be better than me...

Seriously... i don't know how long... how much more can i take this... even i have quizzes... tests... xm... thesis to be made... assignments to be done.. but.. i can come on time... actually i don't like to wait.. when people waits for me it makes me feel ashamed and embarrassed of myself...

when is try to ask what's the problem that you guys didn't come to training... you guys seems to avoiding that's question...

i don't know what to say... i don't understand...

All the designing and analysis have to be done using software. So there's nothing i can do..... Since i only got the bike.. so might just want to sell it off... so that i can buy a laptop... But... the bike went to the workshop last week... the piston got jammed.. the piston ring was loosen and it got caught up with the piston. my engine block got sleeve. Have to do top overhaul, then it could run again... got some good memories with that bike.. but.. first thing first..

So... my theory is... know the limit of your machine.. if you push beyond the limit.. you'll pay the price..

Today i'll talk about my psm. PSm stands for project sarjana muda or Final year project. My psm title is portable pineapple peeler: an ergonomics approach. In this topic, i have to do research on how to improve the pineapple peeler that already have in the market in terms of ergonomics. What is ergonomics? well.. from my reading of relevant sources, ergonomics is fitting the work to the worker. meaning that i have to improve the person's position when doing job so that he or she won't feel any disorders when doing the job. Mostly jobs that have repeatating procedure and have long hours of working periods. Almost forgot, y psm focused more on the sme( small and medium entepreneurs).

But, when you look at a pineapple, you will think that it is much more easy to peel it just by knife and hand. Although there is tons of peeler in the market, but none of them fits the needs for an ergonomics purpose. I found one gigantic peeler that is big as a house. It can peel about 100 pineapple per minute. pretty fast huh...? but the cost of the maintainance is slightly costly. that might give you a second thought about buying it. There's also small peeler that is used in the kitchen, but not so economic because it cut to deep just because to make the shape looks like a cylinder.

SO.. It is my task to improve the pineapple peeler..... hehehehe

THE THEORY IS, IF YOU IMPROVE THE ERGONOMICS OF A PRODUCT, THE WORKERS WILL BE HAPPY.....
